Senior EHS Advisor
Role Overview:
- Support the safe day-to-day operation and ongoing development of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) activities across MiAlgae’s commercial manufacturing site.
- Lead and support incident investigations, risk assessments, safe systems of work, and corrective action activities to maintain a safe and compliant operational environment.
- Assist with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS systems, procedures, and compliance processes across the site.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operational teams, contractors, and leadership to promote a strong and inclusive safety culture.
- Support environmental compliance activities including monitoring, sampling, reporting, and permit management to ensure regulatory requirements are maintained.
- Contribute to audits, inspections, training activities, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives within a growing biotechnology manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
- HND, degree, or equivalent experience in a relevant scientific, engineering, manufacturing, or EHS-related discipline.
- Previous experience within an EHS, safety, or operational role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience supporting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safe systems of work.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the business.
- Proactive and collaborative approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and provide practical EHS guidance within a fast-paced operational environment.
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent EHS qualification.
Desirable:
- Experience within process manufacturing, biotechnology, chemical, utilities, or similar industrial environments.
- Familiarity with ISO management systems and regulatory compliance processes.
- Experience supporting commissioning, installation, or construction safety activities.

Deputy Quality Manager
Role Overview:
Support the day-to-day operation, performance, and continuous development of the Quality Control (QC) function, ensuring activities are delivered effectively to support manufacturing operations, product quality, and wider business objectives.
Lead and support QC laboratory activities including testing, sampling, documentation, reporting, and data review to maintain compliance, traceability, and high-quality standards.
Assist with the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), including SOPs, CAPA activities, investigations, audits, and controlled documentation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, QA, R&D, Engineering, and other departments to resolve quality and operational challenges.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across laboratory operations, workflows, systems, and team capability within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant scientific, technical, manufacturing, or quality-related discipline.
Previous experience within a Quality Control, laboratory, or regulated manufacturing environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads, manage competing demands, and maintain attention to detail.
Experience working within controlled quality systems, following SOPs, specifications, and documented procedures.
Clear communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Practical problem-solving mindset with a proactive and continuous improvement-focused approach.
Desirable:
Experience in biotechnology, food/feed, pharmaceutical, chemical, or other regulated industries.
Exposure to QA/QMS activities including audits, CAPA, deviations, investigations, and document control.
Experience with microbiological, analytical, biochemical, or environmental testing activities.
Familiarity with GMP, GLP, ISO, HACCP, FEMAS, or similar quality standards.
Experience using LIMS, QMS software, or other laboratory and quality management systems.

Account Executive - Pet Food Market
Role Overview:
- Support the development and management of relationships with key decision-makers, including buyers, procurement teams, technical leads, and R&D functions

Sales Manager - Pet Food Market
Role Overview:
- Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers, including buyers, procurement teams, technical leads, and R&D functions
- Proactively identify, qualify and convert new sales opportunities and partnerships

Requirements:
- Approx 5 years or more of progressive experience in sales, commercial management, or business development (in pet food or animal feed industry preferably)

Production Lab Technician
Role Overview:
- Support the Production Lab Supervisor as part of the MiAlgae Production Team, contributing to the commercialisation of the company’s Omega-3 product and future product development
- Plan and carry out day-to-day laboratory activities to meet production schedules and throughput targets
- Prepare algal inoculum cultures, autoclaved site materials, and maintain laboratory equipment and standards to support production workflow
Requirements:
- Experience working in a laboratory or production environment, ideally involving aseptic techniques and sterile practices
- Experience with routine laboratory activities such as media preparation, sampling, equipment operation (e.g., autoclaves), and documentation
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work both independently and within a fast-paced team environment

Maintenance Technician
Role Overview:
Support the Production Site Foreman as part of the MiAlgae Production Team, maintaining and optimising mechanical and electrical systems to ensure efficient plant operations and support scale-up activities.
Carry out routine and reactive maintenance, including breakdown repairs, diagnostics, and installation of process plant equipment such as pumps, vessels, centrifuges, and agitators.
Maintain utilities and safety systems, assist with equipment installation, develop maintenance plans, and ensure accurate documentation while collaborating with engineering, production, and R&D teams.
Requirements:
Experience working in an industrial or process plant environment, maintaining and installing mechanical and/or electrical equipment
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose faults using technical knowledge, with proficiency in hand and power tools
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work both independently and within a team
Ideally qualified through a recognised apprenticeship or HNC/HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
